CITYFÖRSTER Rotterdam is seeking a Senior Design Architect to lead our design competitions, spearhead concept development, and forward design excellence. Join us in turning our vision for sustainable and impactful design into reality. Our projects span multiple scales and contexts, from research into Carbon-based Design and Urbanism to strategic master planning and mixed-use building design, landscape architecture, and more. Our work is driven by the transformative power of design to balance economic interests with quality of life and environmental responsibility.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience with a proven track record of design excellence, including multiple competition wins, prizes, and awards.
• Mindset: Hands-on, productive, and a great team player.
• Design Excellence: ability to translate concept into design, using a clear methodology and large frame of reference
• Leadership skills: someone with a didactic approach and experience in guiding a young team of architects and designers
• We encourage candidates who teach part-time at a university in a similar field and are seeking to complement this with 3-4 days of professional work, to apply.
