Rolling Comfort is a modern, compact home designed for the nomadic lifestyle. It features a lightweight, circular design that can be easily towed behind a car. The home is built from a combination of aluminum composite and reclaimed wood, emphasizing sustainability. Every space in the home is optimized for efficiency, providing a comfortable and fluid living experience for those who seek modern mobility.
The home includes a unique feature called the “Spinning Compartment Storage,” which maximizes space by organizing and storing specific furniture or functional elements. This system allows occupants to use only the furniture or function they need at any given time, while the rest remains hidden. The custom-made furniture fits perfectly within these compartments, promoting a minimalist lifestyle. Additionally, the home offers an optional extendable space using retractable fabric and aluminum structures.
The structure also doubles as storage, particularly for water and furniture. Water is sourced through rainwater harvesting and a “Fog Catcher,” a device that extracts water from fog and dew—an ancient method still used in dry regions.
The most prominent feature of Rolling Comfort is “The Wheel”, made from recycled plastic and aluminum. This wheel serves multiple purposes: it acts as a source of energy by harnessing hydroelectric, wind, and kinetic energy, ensuring the home is self-sustaining on the road.
Rolling Comfort is a versatile, transportable living solution that adapts to various environments, combining practicality, sustainability, and modern values.
