Today, there are many challenges and climate change issues. As a historical and cultural city, Rome faces sustainability challenges such as the sustainable preservation and utilization of its historical assets, the renovation of the over-touristy urban transportation system, and community revitalization.

Therefore, we propose to complement the missing semi-elliptical part of the Colosseum with a contemporary expression that applies ancient Roman concrete and arch technology. In this new space, endangered native plants from all over Italy will be displayed and arranged in a gradation of vibrant colors. The gentle flow of visitors will provide a new perspective on the historical heritage with exquisite colors and scents, connecting the present with the past.

The new Colosseum will also serve as a hub station for futuristic urban aerial transportation, and will be the center of an aerial transportation network connecting the towers in Rome.

The fusion of ancient wisdom and modern innovation will create vibrant urban spaces and activities. Breathing new life into historical monuments, it will re-invigorate Rome as the heart of the city and bring another cultural primavera to the Eternal City: Rome.
