Fjord-inspired bedroom suite

For an online design contest for US Interior Design Society member (both professional and students), I won the student category in designing a bedroom and dressing room with a blank floor plan with the directive to come up with one’s own design, incoporating three sponsor products (paints, lights, rug). I used a fjord mural that I wrapped around the entire room as a jumping-off point for these rooms with the feeling of a remote outpost, amongst nature and ruins.  The plants and fireplace were not requirements but they added a cozy warmth to the icy vibe.
