The proposition of this project is to build a structure that will cause as less intrusion in the existing site as possible while creating a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors that would arrive to The Beacon from around the world.
With the idea of been least evasive as possible The Beacon will anchor itself at the shore of the lake and extend with two geometries parallel to the lake. One will house the visitors that would like to enjoy the thermal water in a exterior/interior structure that can be enjoy all year long despite of the weather and climate, the opposite structure will house guest that would like to stay on site for some days. These units will be connected via common green areas and each unit will have a pool that will take advantage of healing waters from the lake. The vertical structure that rises from the ground will be a green house that will farm products all year long for the visitors’ consumption and will also be used as a beacon to guide travellers to their destination.
Most of the building will be constructed of concrete with graphite composite one on the abundant resources of the Himalayas.
