India is rapidly growing it’s infrastructure towards vertical growth and mobility just as the rest of the world. Gurugram’s Cyber City is the one of the ‘Silicon Valleys’ of India bringing in a lot of MNCs and population but is also one of the most polluted and environmentally backward areas made up of concrete and glass blocks leading to extreme consumption of energy , unmanaged waste, urban heat island effect, loss of biodiversity and major water drainage and flooding issues . The population also faces issues of mental and physical health dues to fact that ‘LIFE’ has become all about working in Air conditioned rooms in polluted cities and making money.
The solution is to adapt and evolve with different species and remind what ‘LIFE’ actually is .
Bio-Clad is an adaptable material cladding available in multiple natural material options like mycelium , felt , stabilized earth cones and honey wax. The external layer is made of hollow sections of these materials and allows various urban flora and fauna to grow and live in it .
Energy is never wasted in nature , it keeps changing it’s form . The back layer of the clad is made up of quartz fibroid cables which generate energy using Pizzoelectricity. By polluting itself, the surface attains a positive, productive role for the global atmosphere.
The cladding is grows naturally during the process of pollination by birds , bees etc and through wind and rain and the clean energy generated by natural forces and the mechanical forces generated in the cladding by the biodiversity is supplied to urban infranstructure.
The whole cyber city acts as a cell with waste utilized by biodiversity and them helping us with organic food and clean air and energy , thus , creating a synergetic space for the future!
