Revival Spirit transforms abandoned gas stations into vibrant community hubs where people reconnect with life beyond technology. As cars shift from fuel to electric power, these once-essential spaces can be reimagined as places of joy, creativity, and human interaction.
Each Revival Spirit location features color-coded cubes, each representing a different activity—reading, dancing, open-air movies, and social gatherings. The ground itself generates electricity as people walk, powering bikes and lighting up the space.
In a world increasingly dominated by technology, Revival Spirit brings back the simple joys that make life meaningful. It’s a place to feel alive again, where energy is created not just for sustainability but for the soul.
Jury Comments
– The idea of energy preservation and redistribution receives a fresh interpretation in this project. The author draws a parallel between humans and technology, suggesting a rethinking of the utilitarian purpose of space in favor of simple human joys. Special attention is given to the modular structure of the building, providing flexibility in organizing the area, while the use of color creates a striking contrast with the surrounding development. | Elizaveta Oputina
