My project aims to transform the iconic Hollywood sign into an adaptive museum platform, seamlessly integrating with the Los Angeles skyline. Project “New Hollywood” reimagines the existing landmark, and offers a unique destination for AI and digital art enthusiasts.

The museum features a rotating structure capable of 0, 90, and 180-degree orientations, providing a dynamic and ever-changing interface that enhances its presence as a new digital urban sign. Two classic spatial sequences organize the internal form: 

1. Linear Exhibition Space: This area incorporates advanced digital displays and interactive devices, including AI, AR, and VR technologies, to offer an immersive and evolving art experience.
2. Gathering Hall Space: Designed to facilitate communal engagement, this hall enables visitors to share and interact with public AI artworks. It serves as a vibrant forum for collaboration and participation.

Both linear and gathering space can serve their purposes at any of three rotating degrees, where the physical spatial flexibility resonates with the fluidity of digital art and technology. By transforming the Hollywood sign into a beacon of innovation, the AI Museum redefines “social condenser” spaces, establishing Los Angeles as a global nexus for digital art and technological exploration.
