I’m currently in my third year of a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Université Laval. My journey in architecture started with a dream: to imagine spaces that feel meaningful and then make them real. Over the past years, I’ve learned how to express my ideas clearly and transform them into concrete proposals—through drawings, models, and detailed design work. One of the projects I’m most proud of is Green Refuge, a concept that explores architecture as a calm, living environment within the city. This project pushed me to connect narrative, atmosphere, and spatial organization, and to communicate a design intention in a clear and convincing way. Technically, I’ve built strong skills with AutoCAD, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Enscape, which allow me to move from concept to representation efficiently. I’ve also developed solid time-management habits to handle deadlines and multiple deliverables. Like many students, I’ve had to manage stress, but it has helped me become more disciplined and focused. I’ve also gained valuable exposure by visiting and observing construction sites, which strengthened my understanding of how projects take shape in the real world. Looking ahead, I want to pursue design-focused opportunities in Europe and keep growing as a designer.
