“The Orbital Line” reimages “The Line” on a cosmic scale, envisioning human settlements formed in a linear way that orbits the Earth. This concept pushes the boundary of the original vision, presenting a resilient model for cosmos communities that have zero impact on our planet. While the idea of living in outer space has long been a subject of aspiration and discussion, this decontextualized paradigm makes that dream attainable. Each module of  “The Orbit Line” functions as a self-sustaining community, akin to a space station on an urban scale, capable of connecting with one another or drifting freely into the cosmos as needed.  This orbital living eliminates the hostile relationship between humans and the ecosystem. As illustrated in the image from the cosmos city, Manhattan returns to its original oasis-like state.
