The newly defined project space is one that transcends past the boundaries of the physical realm. The concept of the traditional performance, often involving an orthodox, static layout, social hierarchies, as well as a fixed directionalities towards an object (stage, performer, band, etc…) are entirely dismantled. 

The proposal thus creates a new type of performance space that transcends known materiality: the ground responds dynamically to the musical frequencies, rising and falling in sync with proposed beats and tempos. Beyond this, the space also responds to the internal vibrations of the audience, fostering an immersive and personalized experience. The users are not simply mere spectators, but rather, active participants in the experience.

“Inframaterial“ thus envisions a seamless fusion of space, music, performance, and human presence, all uniting into one holistic encounter, dissolving the boundaries between performer and audience.
