The N ᴴᴬᴮᴵᵀᴬᵀ reimagines mobile living by merging modularity with sustainability, embodying a nomadic spirit. Inspired by the mathematical concept of exponentiation, N ᴴᴬᴮᴵᵀᴬᵀ is designed to grow exponentially in both space and function. The initial 2.5m x 2.5m cube, with its sleek, curved edges, is optimized for seamless attachment to vehicles, offering a compact yet adaptable living solution for 1-2 individuals in Phase 1. The cube cleverly integrates space-saving pull-out compartments for essential functions like cooking, dining, and sleeping, maintaining a versatile and clutter-free interior. Phase 2 expands the unit to 2.5m x 5.4m through retractable frames and durable fabric, accommodating up to 4 individuals. Interior fabric walls provide flexible room divisions, ensuring adaptability in various environments. In Phase: Beyond, the true power of the design unfolds, as these modular units can interconnect horizontally like building blocks, fostering social interaction and community-building among nomads. Sustainability remains central, with the habitat capturing solar energy and rainwater to ensure self-sufficiency. N ᴴᴬᴮᴵᵀᴬᵀ encapsulates the future of nomadic living, where mobility, community, and ecological responsibility come together to create a new modular lifestyle.
Jury Comments
– The modular and compact design of the pieces of the NHabitat proposal offer a practical solution for nomadic settlements, offering the possibility of change with little effort. Its practical and highly functional design offers different settlement possibilities so that the modules are not understood as individual pieces but as parts of a community construction. | Belén Argudo, José de la Torre, Santiago Granda & Pablo Silva
