The “BagHouse” aims to develop a residential project for a “nomadic house.” The backpack that makes up the house is completely used to assemble it and serves as internal space for equipment and other items.
The structure is made of hollow metal bars that can extend in size and features rollable photovoltaic panels for energy generation. An air pump inflates the house’s “walls” and the furniture, which is inflatable and fits inside the backpack. This pump also functions as a water pump for a hose, allowing for showering. The house also includes tensioning cables, a portable power center, and a lighter. The fabric of the backpack also serves as the closing material for the house.
It has two layers of closure: a mosquito net and another for privacy, offering flexibility in use. The tents can be connected, creating larger modules and increasing the usable area.
