Veggies Live

The project is based on the idea of integrating greenhouse vegetable cultivation with their sale and consumption. Everyone who visits the complex has the opportunity to see, touch, and smell the products that will end up on their plate. The project’s goal was to combine the characteristic features of regional architecture with the freshness of a modern form. The material solutions used are based on contrast – rough brick is juxtaposed with the transparency of the glass structure.

The development consists of three buildings: a restaurant with a cafe separated by a connector and an organic store. The entire complex is enclosed on the north side by a crown of greenhouses where vegetable cultivation takes place. Access to the complex can be gained through a path branching off from the main road and through the restaurant complex. The ensemble is connected by a green courtyard designed for recreation. The patio encourages walks and observation of the plant maturation process.
