Our group is concerned about the waste problem in the fruit and vegetable market. The general solution is to recycle wasted fruits and vegetables, but we noticed that this cannot fundamentally solve the problem and has no power and potential for sustainable development. Therefore, we start from the perspective of the market operating mechanism, dismantle the logic, explore ways to solve the problem fundamentally, and ultimately create a new market mechanism.
We use the sustainable material mycelium to connect our entire market. Because mycelium is light and thin, it can solve the construction problem of fruit and vegetable market venues. It can also be used as a material for fruit and vegetable packaging. In addition, it can also be used as currency for exchange in the market. Thus, ultimately forming a green, sustainable, organic recycling fruit and vegetable market.
