This project dubbed- “THE RENAISSANCE” entails a renovation and expansion of the Visual Arts block for Opoku Ware Senior High School in Kumasi, Ghana, to facilitate the teaching and learning of graphic design, photography and arts and crafts.
The design makes ample provision for the modern aspects of visual arts in high school, whilst utilizing local materials and keeping to a low budget. Sustainability and passive design are at the core of the design process.
