Diorama • Axel Springer Campus

This is a 1:25 research diorama model created to explore the architectural concept of the Axel Springer Campus designed by OMA.

Bisected by a diagonal atrium that opens up to the existing Axel Springer headquarters, a series of well-connected terraced floors forms the valley. It is an informal stage at the centre – a place to casually converse and broadcast ideas to other parts of the company.

Pushed towards the periphery are the formal office zones occupied by neighbourhoods. Each neighbourhood represents one multimedia news brand and owns a floor. Together they constitute a diverse campus with various voices.
