In the design process, architectural details balance uncertainty and creativity. Embracing uncertainty, simplicity guides the merging of objects and places for immersive experiences. Materials harmonize the past with sustainability, bridging history and the present.
“Vessels of nature” challenges traditional aesthetics and utility, exploring light, proportion, and materials to birth engaging experiences with eco-conscious design. Materials bridge historical echoes with sustainability, intertwining past and present. Beyond functionality, it invites engagement with light, sound, air, and nature’s forces, promoting sustainable living.
Within this landscape, connections between design, users, and the environment nurture user-centric, sustainable design practices focused on forest preservation. A fluid identity adapts and evolves with time, offering a holistic, deeply personal, and universally resonant experience in wilderness restoration.
Amidst the interplay of emptiness and solidity, a profound dialogue emerges between the past and the present, as non-architecture coexists with history, intertwining memories and experiences. Through this conversation, non-architecture plays an active role as a mediator in the harmonious coexistence of history and the contemporary. It weaves new memories with the old, transforming the physical environment into a vessel for experiences. Beyond mere functionality, it encourages engagement with light, reflection, and immersive experiences.
Jury Comments
“The proposal is clearly placed in the landscape in a timeless manner, and could be an ancient ruin, or a contemporary work.”
