The act of cycling is a perpetual motion, we peddle and the gears move, the gears drive the wheels to move us forward. This process goes over and over again until we stop. Just by us doing one act continuously, different components, when paired in just the right orientation magnifies our contribution to move us faster and further towards one goal, our destination. In this case the person becomes one with the machine and the bike could not function without its cyclist. In the context of the house, different entities i.e. access, privacy and energy, come together for it to be inhabitable. These are elements that we constitute to be a home. While these factors could be considered separately, what if the act of cycling could integrate them as a house? These aspects that make up a house are the gears that form a bike and only by this single act of peddling does it achieve its goal, to becomes an inhabitable space. The bike in this house becomes more than a vehicle to travel and the house becomes a cycle. From the point of entrance, to opening the door and powering the house, the act of cycling is required. This is the cycle of Home.
