Shopping Center

The building is located in Beijing and features a lake to the east. Abandoning the traditional straight edge with right angles, a streamlined design featuring soft curves integrated with the lake was chosen instead. By using the lake as an organic extension of the building to create a feeling of additional space, the building looks lively and an interesting visual impact. Due to the overall density of the city there is a lack of space so to mitigate this, a streamlined body mass with a a semi-enclosed lake creates broad area for the building to attract people to stop.
